Can you maintain a website or application that you did not build?+

Yes, after a technical audit. We review the code or platform, versions, dependencies, access, hosting, backups and known incidents. This allows us to identify what can be taken over immediately, which risks need to be fixed first and whether any parts require remediation before reliable maintenance can be provided.

What does a maintenance agreement actually cover?+

The scope depends on the product and its criticality. It can include updates, bug fixes, monitoring, backups, availability checks, security, support and an agreed amount of minor improvements. We clearly distinguish preventive maintenance, incidents and new development so you know what is included and what requires a separate estimate.

How do you manage backups and restores?+

A backup only has value if it can be restored. We define frequency and retention based on data volume and acceptable data loss, monitor backup jobs and schedule restoration tests where appropriate. For more critical systems, the architecture can include several backup layers or additional redundancy to support stronger recovery objectives.

What happens during an outage or security incident?+

Alerts are first assessed for impact and urgency. Response then follows the agreed service level: restore the service, contain the incident, identify the cause and implement corrective actions. For critical environments, we can define escalation procedures, contacts and documented recovery scenarios so responsibilities are clear before an incident occurs.

Can you improve the performance and security of existing hosting?+

Yes. We can analyse response times, configuration, CDN, caching, software versions, permissions, certificates, WAF and other relevant controls. We do not recommend migration by default: if the existing platform is healthy, we optimise it. If it is a genuine constraint on security, performance or operations, we propose a migration with a controlled cutover plan.
